ResponderEliminarNowadays pollution is one of the worst problems most countries have. How to solve this issue is a big concern for them and just a few politiciens are making their best to find a solution.
On the one hand, this problem could be sorted out if everyone made a big effort. For example, inhabitants could help if they stopped using their private transport in benefit of the public one. To carry this out the government could reduce the prices, which would encourage people to use it.
In addition, it is very important to keep the rivers and seas clean as water is what makes life possible in a planet. Implementing measures against water pollution would avoid a big quantity of dirt in our world.
In my opinion, it is mandatory that most of people looked after the planet in order to make a better place to live. It is in our hands to make this happen and we cannot forget to have this in mind as long as possible.

MECHANICS: The most useful thing you can learn
One day I was on a trip to another country with my family and my car stopped working. It was full of lugagge and we had to wait for hours for a tow truck to come and take the car to the garage. Our vacations did not start very well.
In that place I decided to study mechanics. What a great idea! I learnt it from some tutorial videos on youtube. It is amazing how many things you can find online. At the beginning everything sounded a little strange but soon it was getting more and more interesting.
It is very useful because every time I hear a beep in my car I know what is wrong with it and also I am able to fix any damage at any time, no matter what.
I highly recommend this because apart from being cheaper than taking your car to a garage, it saves you a lot of time. Besides, you are always safe when you travel by car. It is worth every second you spend learning mechanics.

Speaking of the first world, nowadays our lifestyle is completely different from the one we had 100 years ago. Many things have changed and have been made the possibility to have a better life.
Firstly, the new technological advances have allowed to detect health problems quicker and more accurate than before and therefore, to find a cure for the majority of the illnesses. Additionally, doctors are better qualified because of the changes made on the studies plans throughout these years.
Also, currently we have easier access to every kind of leisure activities, television, internet, etc. which let us choose among a wide range of entertainment to live happier and more comfortably.
For all these reasons there is no doubt that life is better today. However, not many things have changed in the Third World and, unfortunately, I do not believe they can say the same about their lives.
In conclusion, life is better today but depending on the place or country we are referring to. We cannot forget about people who is having the same (or even worst) issues we had a century ago.

INTRODUCTION
One summer I worked as a cashier in a supermarket. It was a very pleasant experience because I got to know a lot of people I did not know before even though they lived very close to me.
DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
This jobs consists of not only giving change back to the clients but also checking out that no one is stealing anything, counting big amounts of money and making sure all the accounts are correct.
WHAT I LEARNT
Before that job I have always thought I was very bad at maths. However, from the day I started working there my mind became more agile at counting. Adding and taking away quantities were part of my daily routine. It was very easy and soon it was getting more interesting for me.
RECOMMENDATIONS
I highly recommend this job because your brain skills can be developed in a very quick way. In addition it provides you the possibility to be more mature and responsible.

On the one hand the way you look tells a lot about you and, like it or not, it is going to have an effect on what people think about you.
On the other hand the price of the clothes have a big range of variety. Fortunately, Fashion is a big industry and we can fin many different stores with different prices. Depending on the incomes of the buyers, they would decide where is the best place to acquire their new outfits.
In my opinion, this industry is very critical for teenagers. At this age everything is more relevant than it usually is, so the fashion industry should be very careful about the sizes of their clothes, in order not to produce eating disorders.
In conclusion, the fashion world have several benefits and disadvantages, but the most important is that people have to be responsible about their own shopping.
REVIEW
A very interesting course
I have recently attended to a cooking course which has lasted 6 weeks. All the classes lasted 90 minutes and they had the same structure. The teacher arrived and introduced us in 15 minutes the meal we were going to cook. After that, she gave us a detailed explanation about the ingredients and why they were so special. Finally, she let us about 60 minutes to prepare our own dishes, which we could present in a different and original way.
From day one, I have learnt several things, for instance, how to mix the ingredients in a appropriate way so that the meal does not result disgusting to someone's taste. Also, something fascinating is the creativity you must have in order to provide a delicious and attractive dish. In addition, in this course I have found out how to eat healthily.
I highly recommend it because apart from being quite accessible for all type pf public, it has a very big utility at home as everything we have learnt can be applied in our daily cooking.
REPORT UNIT 9
ResponderEliminarINTRODUCTION
The surroundings of my school should be improved as there are not many facilities. Fortunately, the town has some money now that can be spent on that purpose.
MY SCHOOL
The main door of the building is located next to a roundabout that leads to a little parking with space for only ten cars. Because of this, everyone parks on the road, which makes difficult to drive in. For all these reasons the money should be spent on a large parking with space for, at least, fifty cars. However I would also suggest the council to put a bus stop close to the school.
SURROUNDINGS
One hundred metres away from the centre you can find a huge swing park. However I would also build some basketball or football courts to provide a free place to practice sport. The students would benefit from it as this would let them not only to socialize but to improve their health.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend spending the money on a new parking and a new open leisure area, which would have a beneficial effect on the students and their families.

In someones's live is necessary to have both, friends and family in order to achieve a happy life.
Firstly, family is a significant support because they know you well as you have grown up together. They often sense how you feel, which makes easier to either help or give some advise when you have problems.
However, when you reach certain age, friends become more important in your life. There is a moment when you want to be more independent and you prefer enjoying your time with them, for example on holidays, parties, etc. Additionally, there are some concerns that you rather rely on them instead of your family.
For all these reasons, I believe that both are essential and we should work on keeping a good relationship with them as they play a main role in our lives. Without them we would not be as happy as we are right now.

In order to get the keys you have to knock on my neighbour's door. He has one set which would kindly give it to you as I let him know you are staying. Also he offered himself to help you in everything you need.
About the flat, don't worry about anyhting. I have left everything ready to live in and also the fridge is full of food. In case you need it, there is a little supermarket right around the corner.
Finally, I should warn you about a couple of things: please, don't make any noise after 10 pm, as my neighbours get up very early in the morning and they would complain; and turn the heating off every night when you go to sleep.

When applying for a job, it is important to bear in mind not only how much we are going to earn but whether we enjoy that type of work or not
Firstly, we should think about how much time we spend at work. The average is eight hours ish, which means it is one third of our life. For this reason it is recommendable to work on something we really enjoy. If not, our life could be very miserable.
Additionally, there is a large variety of activities in which we can work on. The main thing is to make sure that our effort is well paid. Otherwise we will not be happy and we will not be so productive. However, this does not mean earning a big amount of money, but enough to live comfortably.
In other words, although earning enough money is important, having a lot is not. It is much better to enjoy our job and have a pleasant life. That is what would make anyone happy at the end of the day.

Does happiness really exist?
I do not know whether this feeling truly exists or not, but what I do know is what would make me the happiest and most grateful person ever.
As family and friends are the essential for me, I would say that being with them every time I would love to and, most importantly, that they have a great health and a better quality of life is something I honestly wish. Besides, what would I do without them? I would be completely lost.
Other thing that I am looking forward to is to achieve the goals I have pursued for so many years, such as working as a teacher for the rest of my life and obtaining a high english level certification.
Lastly, I would love to live in a big house with a great garden where I could raise the four children I am willing to have with my husband.
In conclusion, being surrounded by people full of love, health and joy is what happiness mean to me. I think I am on my way to get it and hopefully, it is not too far.

For this main reason I consider very important not to damage our world, avoid pollution as much as possible and stop cutting off trees in order to low a little the Earth's temperature, so that these animals do not disappear.
In conclusion, people must carry out several actions if we want to protect those animals. It is in our hands to make this possible.
REVIEW
A BOY BAND CONCERT
Not long time ago, I attended to a Backstreet Boys concert. It was one of my favourite groups when I was a teenager, so I wanted to go and see whether they were still as they used to be.
The show took place in a stadium, which was big enough for about 10.000 people. Although there were not seats available for everyone, I managed to get the tickets soon enough to have a seat at a great distance, where I was able to see everything without big effort.
The music was loud and there were not important issues. In addition they sang the majority of the most popular songs. Everyone enjoyed it. I am sure that if you were one kilometre away, you could still hear the audience singing at once. The atmosphere was incredible! However, what I liked the most, was the band's ability to dance as they do even though they are on their 40's.
I highly recommend this concert. Not only because I love them, but because they offer a show that eveyone would love to see.

Darth Vader is a very popular character known for being one of the worst villains of all times. However, when he is about to die, he gives his life to save his son's, so I do not think he is that bad after all.
When he is growing up he is soon manipulated by what is called "the Dark side". During most of his life he believes he is a bad person. He is even able to go against his own son. Although he realises he truly loves his son and he quickly change sides, it may be too late.
The is no doubt this is a very interesting and complex character. He has an evolution that goes from an innocent child to an evil man and a noble old father in the end. The people around him does no let him be who he really is. If I were him, I would be very frustrated and I would probably do worse things than destroying the galaxy.
In conclusion, not everything is as bad as it looks. We only need to analyse a little deeper to understand one person's behaviour.

THE BEST HOUSE
When you are old enough and you are planning to move out from your parents, do not hesitate, go to a modern house!
Whereas in old houses you can hear a wide variety of noises and in a flat you always know what your neighbours are up to, in a modern residence you are on your own. No one will ever disturb you and you would be able to get some rest whenever you want.
Additionally, a newer house has better appliances, which makes you live more comfortably and therefore, you will spend less money on calls and plumbers as you will not need to repair the machines so often.
At last, living in a house will give you the opportunity to have a garden where you come invite your friends over and prepare some amazing barbecue parties.
As you can see, everything are advantages. I would not have any doubt if I were you. Go for it!
"EVERYBODY WOULD LIKE TO BE RICH AND FAMOUS" ESSAY
ResponderEliminarNowadays most people would love to be rich and famous, however this has some advantages and inconveniences.
On the one hand being popular and having a lot of money would allow you to live very comfortably. You would not have to worry about any expenses and also you would be able to buy everything you want. Besides, everyone would know you and you would attend the most exclusive parties. You would be surrounded by luxury
On the other hand, when you are a known person, your private life is over. You would find papparazzi everywhere and they even would chase your family. Something as usual as going to the shopping centre would appear on the entertainment shows.
In my opinion, before deciding whether you want to be famous or not, you must have your priorities clear. Your life can change in the blink of an eye and not necessarily for the better.

First of all, I would buy a used car to travel around my country as vehicles here are not very expensive and the price of the petrol is quite accessible. Also you would be able to visit a lot of marvelous villages. In addition, the roads are in quite good conditions and the distances between cities are not very long. In my opinion that is the best way to go from one place to another.
Then, if you want to find a job for only three months, I think the best is to work in a restaurant. Due to the big amount of tourism in this country they are always looking for temporary waiters. As you speak English, I don't think you would have any problem at all.

In addition, you become more independent. Your family is not as important as it was when you were a child. This is the time to make important decisions, such as what to study in the future or what to do for a living. However, every step you take is essential. Because of this, it is necessary to accept the help and advice from your parents, even though wyou think they are wrong. They will always take care of you.
In conclusion, being a teenager is a great opportunity to realise what the real life is like. There is no doubt that these years are the best ones.
REVIEW
I have recently attended the Rock in Rio Music Festival, which have taken place in Arganda, very close to where I live in Madrid.
In this event, you can hear a wide variety of music such as British pop, R&B, funky or Techno. Groups like Coldplay, Gorillaz, or Black Eyed peas took part in this festival.
What I really liked about it was that the organization was excellent. The music was quite loud and there was not any technical problem during the four days it has lasted. Additionally, there was some regular public transport from the airport to this place with no extra cost, which is really helpful if you are coming from aborad.
I would recommend this event if you could afford it. It was a little pricey but it really worth every penny you spend. It is a great opportunity to do something fun and different with your friends.
