A Day Out at Willen Lake

On the 22 of July, our class had a day off at Willen Lake. The aim of the excursion was to study the animals in the lake through a practical lesson in the morning and later, after lunch break, going for a walk in a hot air balloon.
What we did
We spent all morning studing swans, ducks and geese nutritional behaviour and how human feeding affect in their health. From 1 to 2pm we did a barbecue in the terrace of the Premier Inn. As soon as we finished having lunch we went to the west part of the lake, where there is an aerodrome. There, the Virgin company offers balloon flights even for special ocasions. The teacher had booked a one-hour flight, so flew over Milton Keynes countryside and then go back home.
Final Comments
The day out was a wonderful experience for all of us. It was a very well planned excursion since we not only worked but also had time for fun flying in a balloon. It was an incredible and unforgettable flight over the green lands.
DAY OUT IN TOLEDO

Last week our class went to an extraordinary place called Toledo. The purpose of the visit was to understand the Spanish History and how different cultures were able to live together in peace and harmony.
WHAT WE DID
We took a bus which took us from Madrid to Toledo in only one hour. When we arrived we went to visit the main buildings such as the Cathedral or the Alcazar. Luckily, it was nice and warm so we decided to have lunch on the grass of a big park. After that, we had a walk along the jewish quarter where a guide explained the daily life of the people who lived there hundreds of years ago. Around 6pm we got the same bus to go back home.
COMMENTS
It was a complete success because the students were very interested in all the explanations. Besides, they were fascinated about the magnificent constructions there were in the city. Everyone had a great time, but also learnt a lot. Most of the students wish they came back again with their families.
EXCURSION TO MADRID

On 3rd May, was a different day because our class went an excursion to the city center of Madrid. The aim of our visit was to know about the history of Madrid. So, we did a tour by the city.
What we did
In the morning, we visited the most important Madrid' streets while our guide explained us about secrets and gossip surround it. We were in Palacio Real as well. In the afternoon, we stopped to lunchin Plaza Mayor where we ate some squid sandwiches. Finally, we were walking in the Retiro's park.
Comments
The excursion was excelent because we have learned a lot of things about the oldest Madrid, which were unknown for us. Also, we enjoyed at Retiro's Park where we rode on small boats in the magnific pond. All of us were excited because was a day enough motivating.
