  1. BASKETBALL: THE BEST SPORT EVER

Basketball is one of the best sports someone can play. It is dynamic, fun, and a team-working activity which allows you to male a lot of friends.

I started to play it when I was nine years old. My school organised a championship among the different classes and I wanted to take part. My class was the last one but I enjoyed it so much than I joined the school team. However, I was the only girl playing basketball by then, so my coach got me a space in the masculine team! Soon we participated in a local league against boys.

Although this situation can seem a little weird for some people, I had great fun. My parents were really proud of me and I kept playing until I was 18. However, since I was 11 I have played in a feminine group.

I highly recommend this game because you can meet amazing people, get fit, improve your eye-hand coordination, and travel around different towns. I cannot think of anything else to ask for a great sport!

  2. A new way to keep fit: Body combat

Would you like to keep fit while you enjoy? Now, it is possible. If you go on to read this article, you will change your way of thinking.

I was bored doing the same exercise in the gym every day. I had decided to leave it, but my flatmate told me she started at body combat class. I did not know it! Alana explained me body combat was a blend of dance and martial art. That sounds good! However, my first class was a disaster. My legs and hands moved in the opposite direction. Despite doing wrong, I started to get better.

Nowadays, I am going to my gym twice a week. We do different choreography which consist on movements of karate, boxing and judo accompained of music. I love it because I liberate bad energy and burn calories.

I recommend this funny activity. You will learn to defend and you will get yourself more confidence. You will be healthier.
